Evans has done it again!

The Great Hampshire Sausage, Pie and Ready Meal competition once again took place on 3rd March 2010. Last year Evans won the "Overall Champion" in the "Meatballs and Faggots" category, and, this year they returned to defend the title.

Harry, our youngest member of staff at just 17,  was at the ceremony to receive the award, a fitting tribute to himself and Sara and the rest of the staff who developed this award winning faggot. The event took place at Sparsholt College near Winchester. This is a regional leg of the prestigious national event and Evans will now go forward to enter the next stage.

For the first time ever our chef Fran decided to enter her pork pie, and, having never entered a competition in her life before succeded in netting a Silver certificate- a fantastic result for a first attempt.

CE Evans and Son win outstanding service award

We are proud to announce that CE Evans and Son have been recognised for it's outstanding customer service by the people of Alresford. The team have won the prestigious Alresford Chamber of Commerce, Over and Above Award 2008 for going the extra mile to support local residents.

We were nominated by Mrs June Gregory who was taken home in the company van after falling over in West Street late last year. A record number of people nominated local businesses, showing dedication of the town's traders to make shopping in Alresford a truly unique and special experience.
